Before you visit us for Service or Trade In
By Find My App
A - Update your device to the latest iOS version
B - Open Find My and select the device you want to service
C - Tap More, then Repair or Trade In
D - Tap Enable, then enter your Apple Account and confirm
E - On Mac: open Find My, select your Mac, then click Repair or Trade In
F - For devices running iOS earlier than iOS 27: turn off Find My before your visit
Repair or Trade In via Find My
Make sure your device is updated
A - Open Find My on your iPad or iPhone
B - Select your device for service
C - Tap More, then Repair or Trade In
Enable Repair or Trade In mode
Enter your Apple Account and confirm
A - Your personal data stays safe
B - Find My stays on to track your device
C - The mode automatically turns off after the repair is completed
Repair or Trade In on Mac via Find My
Enter your Apple Account and confirm. Make sure your device is updated
A - Open Find My
B - Select your device for service
C - Click Repair or Trade In
For devices running iOS earlier than iOS 27
Please turn off Find My before proceeding
A - Go to Settings
B - Choose your name
C - Choose Find My
D - Turn off Find My iPhone / iPad (enter your Apple Account password to confirm)
